FAQs

So VoxComm is in effect a global trade association, as WFA is for advertisers?

VoxComm is not a physical organisation, it is a closely networked partnership founded by 6 local/regional agency bodies and others across the globe supporting the mission.

We provide a focus and formalisation of collaboration between these bodies, and areas of collaboration may broaden over time. But for now, VoxComm is focused entirely on advancing the value of agencies and an environment in which the value delivered to clients can be maximised – promoting value-creating relationships for clients (financial and organisational) and calling out value-destroying behaviours.

We also provide a global counterpart for global organisations such as WFA and ICAS, able to partner on initiatives and provide a coordinated global response when needed.

How will this change what the individual local/ regional VoxComm partners do?

VoxComm partners each perform a wide range of activities supporting their individual members, providing training, lobbying on regulatory matters, etc. and this will not change.

They will also continue to advance the value of agencies within the geographies, but related activities and tools will be aligned within the co-owned VoxComm approach.

In terms of execution, specific VoxComm activities will be distributed between the 6 founding partner bodies with support from others.

Can we join VoxComm?

Individual agencies and networks are involved in VoxComm via the trade body that they are a member of. We are open to discussions with other trade bodies around the world who may wish to join.

How is VoxComm funded?

VoxComm is currently funded out of the revenues of the partner bodies, and so indirectly via the membership fees of thousands of agencies around the world.
